6 eggs  – separate yolk and white

100 gr flour

100 gr butter

100 ML milk

100 gr sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Preheat your oven at 150 deg cel.

In a saucepan melt the butter and the milk.

Pour it in a whisking bowl.

Add the flour to it and mix well, then add the eggs yolk to it. Keep aside.

Then mix separately the eggs white and the sugar with a mixer:

  • mix the egg whites with a mixer, low speed at the beginning, when it starts bubbling add the sugar in 3 times till well incorporated to get a shinny preparation.

Mix together the 2 preparations, then add the vanilla extract.

Prepare a greasy mold with parchment paper on all side as the cake will grow high.

Place it into another dish filled with warm water, so it will be baked at bain-marie.

Bake it in the oven at 150° for one hour. It is ready!!


Orange and spice cake

Ingredients: for 6

4 eggs

200 g sugar

1 tsp. ginger and cinnamon mix (optional)

2 oranges or 3 lemons

220 g flour

1 sachet baking powder

8 cl oil

100 g butter


Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.

In a whisking bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar with a mixer or a wisk.

Add the spices mixture.

Wash the oranges or the lemons; remove the zest and make the juice. Keep aside.

Add the sifted flour with the baking powder, then slowly pour in the oil, the melted butter and the orange juice with the zest, mixing well.

Pour the batter into a buttered baking pan and place in the oven. Cook for 35 minutes.

as a decoration you can add on top of the cake candied slices of oranges and lemons.

250 gr  white sugar

180 gr all-purpose flour

90 gr Cocoa Powder

1  teaspoons baking powder

1  teaspoons baking soda

A pinch of salt

2 eggs

125 ml milk

65 ml vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

125 ml boiling water


65 gr butter

90 gr Cocoa Powder

375 powder sugar

40 ml milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Heat the oven at 180 deg celsius..

Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large a bowl. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed with a mixer for a few minutes. Stir in boiling water (the batter will get thinner).

Grease and flour a baking oven dish

Pour the batter into the dish.

Bake for 20-25 mn, check that the edge of a knife comes out dry.

Let it cool down for 10 minutes before removing it on a baking rack.

The frosting:

Melt the butter 30 sec by 30 sec in the microwave. Stir in the cocoa.

Add to it the powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add in small amount the milk, if needed. Add the vanilla extract.

Pour on the top of the chocolate cake, enjoy!!
